Lori Kempton Price says her grandfather, Herbert Donald Kempton is second from the left in the back row.  Her great uncle Orville Kempton is second from the left in the front row.  It was an Independent Team from Nestles.

DICK DE VORE, first baseman;  COB   FERRIS, catcher;  BYRON HOKE, pitcher;  BOB HOKE, left fielder;  DOC BRICKER, shortstop; HOWARD BRICKER, second baseman;    DICK HOKE, third baseman;   BILL SHERMAN, center fielder;  HUGH STRIDER, pitcher; ART BYRD, right fielder;  BOB SMITH,  Elsie Day's husband; LAURIS  BENNETT,  manager.  WE PLAYED  THE MODEL DAIRY  FROM COLUMBUS AND BEAT THEM.   THEY HAD A BUNCH OF THE COLUMBUS RED  BIRDS ON THEIR TEAM.
