Managing Director and Digital Historian
John L. Nau III Center for the Study of the American Civil War, UVA, and author of the article "Old Rosey (Reconsidered)" in the Summer 2019 issue of the "Civil War Monitor," visited Sunbury May 10th to see the statue of General Rosecrans and meet with Polly Horn  of the Big Walnut Area Historical Society.  "We discussed Rosey over dinner at Surve," noted Horn.  "We talked about his upcoming article and the book he is writing about the our General then we took a drive out to the General's birthplace on Rosecrans Road.
